20. Dustin Poirier 

Went 4-0 on his first UFC run at featherweight. He unofficially became the number one featherweight in the world by upsetting Josh Grispi and submitting Max Holloway before his title eliminator loss to the Korean Zombie. At lightweight, he went 8-1 to earn an interim title shot and win it against featherweight champion, Holloway. He then stopped Conor McGregor twice and worked his way up to two more title shots against Charles Oliveira and Islam Machachev.

19. Israel Adesanya 

He opened his UFC career 9-0 to win the UFC middleweight title over Robert Whittaker and defended it a total of six times. He'd lose his title to Alex Pereira only to regain it by vicious knockout to become the first middleweight to win back the title.

18. Khabib Nurmagomedov 

He stayed undefeated at 13-0 his entire UFC career. He won and defended the lightweight title three times. He got ranked wins over Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor, Edson Barboza and Rafael Dos Anjos.

17. Robert Whittaker

At middleweight, he went on an 8-0 run knocking out half of his opponents, beating Jacare and Yoel Romero twice to win the UFC middleweight title. He now has wins over eight ranked opponents in Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori, Kelvin Gastelum, Jared Cannonier, Darren Till, Romero, Jacare and Derek Brunson.

16. Stipe Miocic 

He's is the most successful UFC heavyweight champion with three consecutive title defenses. He became a two time champion by regaining and defending the title once more to win the trilogy over Daniel Cormier.

15. Joseph Benavidez

He went 15-3 at flyweight while Demetrious Johnson was champion with two of those loses coming from him. Twelve of those fifteen wins were against ranked opponents including a win over former flyweight champion Henry Cejudo.

14. Alexander Volkanovski 

He went 12-0 to win and defend the UFC featherweight title four times with wins over former champions, Jose Aldo and Max Holloway. He most recently made history by regaining the title and becoming the only fighter over the age of 35 to do so the lighter weight classes.

13. Junior Dos Santos 

He became the most dominant heavyweight with 9 wins in a row, seven by knockout. This included winning and defending the title once. He closed out his UFC run with wins over four former heavyweight champions, Stipe Miocic, Frank Mir, Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum.

12. Tito Ortiz 

Up until Jon Jones' arrival, Ortiz was the most dominant light heavyweight champion with five title defenses. In his prime he only lost to former champions Frank Shamrock, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell. In between those losses were 13 wins most by way of vicious ground and pound. Four of those wins were against former UFC champions.

11. Frankie Edgar 

He was 12-1 when he'd go on to upset the best lightweight of all time, BJ Penn, twice. He would then avenge his only loss to Gray Maynard in his next two title defenses. He would remain a top five featherweight for the next six years with wins over seven ranked opponents.
